Our seedling protection product makes tree planting more efficient for organizations and municipalities, by reducing seedling mortality and labor needs for post-planting maintenance.

Assembled like a plate around the seedling, our about 100-cm-diameter, easy-to-assemble device is designed for collecting water in wet seasons and slowly releasing it in drier periods, to ensure the optimized hydration of seedlings.
The plate, furthermore, addresses the challenge of animal damages, by creating a physical barrier around the seedlings. To provide protection from harmful parasites, gradually releasable repellent chemicals are also built into the device. ​​​​​​
The plate is designed by incorporating mainly biodegradable and recyclable materials to enable the sustainable implementation of the product. This ultimately allows for easing the cost-, and labor-intensive nature of tree planting, by reducing post-planting maintenance needs and eliminating device-disassembly once the seedling grows tall enough.
